We went to the restaurant Hot Chocolate on Valentine's Day in Chicago. It's in a cool neighborhood called Bucktown. It took two hours to get there through the horrible Chicago traffic. Terry wasn't sure that it was worth it. But we had some wonderful hot chocolate drinks. Terry's was a "Mexican" hot chocolate -- 2/3 dark chocolate, 1/3 milk and fresh cinnamon. Mine was a medium -- milk chocolate with a touch of dark chocolate and a hint of caramel. They serve the drinks with square marshmallows. Terry gobbled his up & I let mine melt in my drink. It was very good!!! Then we had some brioche donuts & chocolate dipping sauce & carmel popcorn. Wish I could have taken pictures of what we ate - but I didn't want to look too much like a tourist!!!
My sister & I went here last spring break. She heard about it through Rachael Ray's show (she loves that show). I'm sure she will want to visit this place when she comes back up here in April. I sent her a text telling her where we were & she texted back "scream!!!"
